Once, I was the weak one in your strong arms.
A child still growing, to keep from harm.
My knowledge still infantile, while yours was broad.
You shared great wisdom when mine was flawed.
I was the one reaching out a hand
For your guidance in which to stand.
We were younger once together, before time did reverse
The standard of life which too quickly disperse.
Now, in my strength, you I will hold.
I will lend you my knowledge,
If you allow me to be so bold.
I will extend my hand on which you can lean.
With respect I will guide you where once you were so keen.
Your memories fading and lost, I will renew.
With patience and care I will walk to the end beside you.
